Here is a question.

What is the minimum amount of pressure one needs to inflict pain/damage with an empty hand?

Also how and why is it possible?

Well, pain is relative... I once had a student who's pain tolerance was "almost" limitless. He was sheriff's deputy who specialized in close quarter combat with drug raids. Deep pressure in specific points are the only thing that fazed him, including groin strikes.....
