Hey,

does anybody have the chinese original of the "Songs of the Five Steps" of the Yang Family tradition according to Li Ying-ang found in the Book "T'ai chi ch'üan Shih-yung fa", Hongkong, Unicorn Press, 1977?

Thx for help to find it.

As far as I know in all Yang family manuals there are two articles with that name - 八门五步 and 八门五步用功法. Do you mean those?

Misuse of "literally" makes me figuratively insane.

This link contains their source - Tai Chi Touchstones, by Douglas Wile. Did he translate them directly?

I am sorry to say that I don't know where to find the Chinese original. I really like the English translation you shared. Best of luck in your search!
