Good lü

Postby Martin2 on Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:59 am

Hello everybody,

here an unusual clip from a german underground - a good lü for me:

http://www.snotr.com/video/994

Sorry no much martial arts action but it worked so well. The guy diverted the attacking strength and let the opponent fall into the emptiness. May be it is not traditional Taichi but anyway the guy got the spirit of lü.

Greetings

Martin2

P.S. I do not think it is made up - if you can listen to the german language it sounds quite spontanous

Must be somewhere in the Berlin area:

The guy says: "Why are you looking so stupid, wankers ?" Then he comes into sight and says: "Do you have a problem, bitch ?" She replies something. He says: "What ?" and approaches her. The pants are pulled down. The troublemaker leaves. Someone says something about the camera. The guy who pulled down the pants asks the woman:" Everything ok with you ?" She says:"Yes thanks".

The only way to beat an opponent is to make them decide to stop fighting, or just make them incapable of fighting, I guess, but then they'd just heal up or wake up and come at you again.

No, I'll stick with the first one, the only way to beat someone is to make them want to quit. Well played.

Hello TaoJoannes,

great post. Reminds me of Sun Bin, descendant of Sunzi:

There are three ways for the strategist to use the military:

1. The upper way is to attack the mind.
2. The middle way is to attack the feeling of the enemy to do a just war
3. The lower way is to attack the enemies position.

Greetings
