Wang Guo'an (5th Generation Dai Xin Yi Quan Expert)

Postby Dai Zhi Qiang on Sat Oct 25, 2008 11:57 pm

Hey all,

Updated the blog again http://daixinyi.blogspot.com/

Just wrote up a short (very short) article on Wang Guo'an, Wang was one of Yan Long Chang's masters (the other being Yueh Gui Ning).

There is very little information regarding his life and his training methods as he only accepted one student in his life time.

If I get access to more information regarding Wang Guo'an and any other information on Dai Xin Yi Quan, I will update as soon as I can.

Regards

Jon.

Good stuff, Jon. :) Didn't know much about Wang Guo'an. Was his only student Yan Longchang, then?

Yes, Wang Guo'an only accepted only one student in his lifetime, which was master, Yan Long Chang.

Little is known about him, but I know he emphasised, Wu Xing Quan and the basics heavily. He had a very complete curriculum of Nei Kung, which had everything from rejuvenating exercises, Dao Yin and sitting meditation. There is also a whole lot of other stuff as well, which I know little about.
