fin' a... Thx for this Ashe!
Ken contributed a ton of stuff back in 2001 when I was creating emptyFlower - magazine articles, training advice, pics and personal video http://www.emptyflower.com/video.html of his masters from over 50 years ago (which are only featured here - accept no imitators ;) ) and one of the nicest down-to-earth stand-up guys I've met through my site and had the pleasure to meet & train a couple times under and highly respect. He's so goddamn fast it's scary... almost as scary as those loud Hawaiian shirts he wears... ;)

Thanks Dave! And thank you Ashe for having me on. BTW, I still wear Hawaiian shirts, but I now let my girlfriend pick the themes. I am told that the incidence of blindness in my area has dropped as a result.....

I do so enjoy learning stuff from The Venerable Fish LaoShr....thankfully I have learned not to wear hawian shirts....you should see the trouble he caused in England prancing about Windsor Castle in them.... ;D

Ken is an excellent teacher and has helped me greatly on my path of development since I first met him in 1994...and glad he is getting some more exposure. One of the higher skilled people I have met .....

ps Thanks to ashe for doing such excellent interviews with skilled people, really helps with insights and knowledge to some of the old school knowledge

either the language gap or the culture gap seems to be coming into play, because when i asked him he seemed a little hesitant, so rather than push the issue i'm probably going to talk to one of my senior brothers.

glad you guys enjoyed the episode!

Hi ashe that show was great! I was very inspired by Dr. Fish and hearing about his background living and training in Taiwan. It brought back memories of when I was a student of Dr. Yang Jwing Ming and he told us his stories of growing up in Taiwan with his white crane teacher. He said similar things as Dr. Fish in regards to the very high level of masters back then that were capable of amazing feats that are no longer seen today by current masters. Please have Dr. Fish on again soon he is a wonderful guest and I learned a lot from his interview. I wanted to hear more about the training methods used back in the day. Take care and keep up the great work!
