Here is a brief outline of the film.

'Serge Augier and the Daxuan School - Teachings of the Urban Daoist'

With a history dating back to the its founding in Kun Lun, China in the year 510, the Daxuan school is an ancient lineage of Daoist practice comprising a wide range of skills both esoteric and practical. Its present day Master is Serge Augier, the best selling author from Paris also known as The Urban Daoist.

Daxuan Film One - release date October 30th 2014 - Serge Augier demonstrates and teaches a wide range of barehand, weapon and equipment training from Ziranmen natural boxing and Taijiquan, including many applications and principles of training and usage. He also discuses the philosophy and principles of internal cultiivation and how they can be applied to everyday life.

I’ve seen a preview of the film and it is extremely rich in content. Serge not only openly shares some of his fighting methods (drills, self-defence ideas, conditioning exercises and a range of weapons), but also discusses other methods of cultivations (shen gong, nei dan, xin yi dao yin fa etc.)

I strongly recommend the film to everyone interested in either Taoism or the internal martial arts,

Hi SNC - that was good to see you in Cambridge, hope your having fun back in Paris!

Hi Martin - just got word from the team that its going to be put up on Vimeo pay for streaming very soon, probably by end of this weekend, and then DVD will be perhaps another couple of weeks.

There will then be part two of Daxuan in winter, plus the films of the other Masters.
