Could you tell me about the progression of kicking techniques?

In Taekkyon there is a very good progression of how the kicks are taught. At the moment I am on the second stage which is low kicks (first stage is stepping). Many of the low kicks are more like sweeps which then lead into the third stage which is takedowns. While the low kicks are almost identical to Chinese MA, I like the structured way they are taught, and the emphasis put on them. CMA often tends to focus more on hands and miss a lot of details of HOW TO USE the kicks effectively.

I wish I could tell you, but he hasn't gotten to it yet. All I can tell you is that he can deliver at least four or five powerful kicks from different angles without putting his foot down. Or stepping.
