Simon Robinson has started a new martial arts podcast, Discipline Breeds Freedom. He kindly interviewed me for the first episode, talking about early days in Tai Chi, moving into Systema, etc, hope you enjoy it

Hi Graham

I don't know lol. I have around 40 mini DV tapes here I filmed at workshops and Toronto and Moscow classes, but not equipment/ time to get them all on the PC/edited

cheers

PS apologies to anyone I missed out when talking about the "old days", in particular John Elliott, Vincent Chu, Jim Uglow and Ji Jian Cheng

Is Simon on this forum? Simon - would be nice to hear more of Rob - you keep interrupting him, especially when he's about to say something interesting.... ;D

Yes it is this Simon.

Thanks to Rob for coming on. Its's a selfish thing really as it allows me to talk to all these teachers I would like to train with and throw questions at them.

My aim was to interupt Rob just as he was about to impart a nugget of golden knowledge. Mission acomplished.

Despite my efforts Rob managed to impart some good stuff and trust me listening back I was telling myself to shut up!

Got some interesting people coming soon. So please tune in to see how I can cut them off at important points of the conversation... ;D

In case you missed the other interviews (Recorded in a huge Typhoon):

Stan 'Diamond' Prescott Old Skool Boxing and Northern Muay Thai - http://disciplinebreedsfreedom.com/dbf- ... ol-boxing/

Alvin the founder of Silat Buka Linkaran - http://disciplinebreedsfreedom.com/dbf- ... lingkaran/

Coming soon we have some Xingyi, Ninjutsu and on a different note entirely some entrepreneurs.
