王继武所传的形意拳，鸡形四把，王德立师父，何守岐师爷之徒弟，北京武术协会形意拳研­究会监事长。Master Wang De Li performed the Ji Xing Si Ba(Four handle of chicken form). Master Wang Deli is disciple of grandmaster He Shou Qi, one of top disciples of legendary 100 years old great grandmaster Wang Ji Wu. Master Wang De Li is one from famous contemporary Beijing masters,member of Beijing Wushu Association and supervisor of the Beijing Xing Yi Quan association.Master Wang is also descendant of Yin Fu（尹福）style of Bagua zhang,the eight trigram palm style （尹福派八卦掌）

He lived a long and full life and influenced a good many students. May he be remembered fondly.

Zhang Baoyang (1922-2016) was a respected martial artist and teacher of xingyiquan in the line of the late Wang Jiwu. Zhang Baoyang was key in presenting Wang's system of xingyiquan to Tim Cartmell and Dan Miller in their book "Xingyi Neigong."

I quite like that video clip Bob posted of Zhang teaching at age 90.

Zhang's teacher Master Wang Jiwu was a 'gongfu brother' in Xingyiquan with Master Hu Yaozhen. Master Wang was a Daoist practitioner, initially under Peng Tingjuan, and then under Peng's teacher, the reclusive hermit Huo Chengguan. Master Hu, who studied several lineages of Daoism, gave credit to Master Wang for introducing him to Peng Tingjuan to learn that line of Daoist practice. Years later Master Wang sent Zhang Baoyang to study Daoist neigong with Master Hu Yaozhen.

My condolences to Master Zhang's family and students.

So sad to hear that M Zhang has passed away, he had an encyclopedic knowledge of the xingyi system passed down by M Wang Jiwu, and his good health way into his old age was a testament to the health benefits of regular correct xingyi practice.

May he rest in peace, and may his legacy live on through his students and grandstudents!
