recently i seem to get told about these 2 words very often

so i need to do a quick poll about all this hurry:
does anyone here have a death match dateline they have to meet?
of which you would very much like to see your opponent die in your hand in a very bloody and totally merciless manner?

to set the record straight:
if you can take all the necessary steps to make/create/train something, whose results are repeatable and reliable, in a
shorter time; this is efficient and effective.

if you tell me you cut away important parts, the you produce something that works sometimes, but most times when tested
it goes to shit; then this is not efficient or effective. of course not!
now let me tell you what this is: its called cutting corners

any o you heard xylh or xingyi Lei Sheng, real life, first hand, in person?
why i mention?
this one come from inside
cannot do some shaky, wriggly movement thingy hoping to show ppl how deep your skill is

Dateline? Well yes, probably another 25 years so if I'm lucky

It's quite simple. If you have a large brick wall to paint white, do you use a 00 gauge brush, a large paintbrush or roller, or a spray can / airbrush

If someone tells you you have to paint with the tiny gauge brush, because that;s the way it's always been, because you need to keep buying the brushes from them, because it will develop your character although you will never finish the job, because...just do as your told, etc, etc then what would you do?

Meanwhile another guy has got his wall finished to a high standard and is now working on his fence. So do you ask him how he did the job, or do you tell him he doesn't really know how to paint, his big brush is just a big clumsy thing compared to your tiny one, he doesn't understand anything about painting, once your wall is finished - in 20 years time - it will look as good as his...maybe...

It's not about cutting corners, it's about knowing what you need to achieve and having the best methods and tools for achieving it. Common sense. When you go shopping do you walk, take a bus or drive? Why?

You dont have clue what I know. It is absolutely ignorant for anyone here to think they know how capable anyone else is here without physically meeting up with them. I thoroughly endorse us all meeting up. It would be the perfect way to exchange & level set.

But I will tell you one really really simple response to your idiotic attempt at being wise in your mangled question...

You never ever know when you will need to save your life and those around you. You must never have had this happen to ask such an idiotic question in the context of combat arts which would make you one of the last people I would listen to on the topic of self preservation.

So let me ask you...

When the need to defend yourself and others comes up will you wish you had trained for combat in a way that is efficient & effective or not?

You can hurry answer your response but I am not in a rush to read it. These days I've decided there are better places to put my attention & prefer to exchange ideas meeting people face to face.

while i'm at it, i actually like to think i talk in a clear and direct manner
while i understand that may offend some ppl, it is better for accuracy.
not understanding something is perfectly ok
but to say that it is useless is another matter altogether
depending on how it is said, it may come across as cima is nothing but a great con job
