I would say no, they don't which is why people have different ideas about it with those that
dont practice in the same way feeling they do....

my point about the weights was that anything that would tend to draw the mind to that point, which would tend to keep one from understanding what "intention" is, how to develop it, use directly.
As dglenn, pointed out some things develop on there own with proper practices that foster it.
Understanding and using "intention" happens to be one of them...
The topic of the thread was about practices using weights while walking ect. it wouldn't be something that I would recommend doing or combining with a practice like taiji....
others might find different.
