I was thinking about this. There is a master I know who got involved with all the mystical stuff.
There's a couple things to remember.
1. He didn't invent it, This stuff has been around for centuries.
2. It does more damage to marketing then good, so why should they even talk about it?

There was a 2 part video set done by Youlihan out of Wudang about the seven levels of consciousness that
I found very interesting. It deals with seven levels and seven sub levels. Unfortunately he most likely
took on a lot of crap for posting them video's, so he removed them. I Believe that info was coming from deeper chambers
of Wudang that visitors don't ever get to hear about. Even if the stuff was way out there, at least we got to hear the material.

I would love to hear of any other author who has published on the reality of moa shan mountain & its magic folks. I mean a text of what really goes on there vs. allegorical stories of magical powers. It's almost like anyone who is supposed to have spent time there either turns loopy or as part of their training they are taught to sound loopy as part of a great misdirection act.

Anyway I think parts of jerrys earlier books on essence of internal masters vol 1 & 2 had some good bits but also some wacky parts. His later stuff on magic and daoism would make for a great harry potter piece if he was not preaching about healing cancer or other maladies through daoist dancing practices.

The first in-depth Western study of the authentic Maoshan thunder magic tradition was published by Professor Michael Saso in 1978. The Teachings of Taoist Master Chuang is available in a reprint from Amazon and elsewhere, but if you'd just like an e-book our own Wong Yuen Ming has kindly made it available on Scribd.

It's an interesting parallel that Michael Sasso provides his books for free or a few bucks with proceeds going to a non for profit vs. jerry who charges a $40-$200 for his. Each to there own I guess....
