Gongyiquan?

Postby jbb73 on Tue Mar 21, 2017 10:43 am

Me again :-)

Somebody heard of a style called Gongyiquan (公義拳)?
(I read that Yue Yunzhong learnt it in his young years, before getting a disciple of Dai Kui.)

Thanks!

He might mean the basic northern Shaolin form that is the base in most chin Wu schools
Thr name in English means basic fist strength
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

Might that be gong li instead?

I asked a Chinaman when his country would adopt a phonetical system of language.
I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

Thank you so long.

@wayne
That might be, the text says he started with learning Shaolinquan.

@klonk
May also be - but unfortunately I don´t know. (But the sign in the text ist definitely yi.)
