Hello Wayne. If I recall correctly, you're a Tang Shou Tao guy? Did you learn directly from Hsu Hong Ji? Do you teach? Where are you located? I'd be interested in hearing more about your training. Thanks! Cerebus

I did have direction instruction from Master Hsu in 1975
But not for any length of time
My teacher was dean Rainer
My student Geoff Ewin spent three years training in Taiwan with Master Hsu
Then as a Quantas steward he kept travelling back to Taiwan the whole time he was training with me
I also had two other hsing I teachers
I don't really teach TST to any of my current students except for one
I am in Australia
But not for any length of time

Thank you. I am actually looking for a TST instructor with no connection to any of the American branches. I trained here for 10 years, but never tested for instructor certification due to various aspects of internal politics.

That would be hard to find in America
I too never got certification
Not due to politics but because I was a bit of a zen hippie and didn't believe in belts
Saying that Dean would grade me every now and then and made me his teaching assistant
