撩挎八卦掌 is not Bagua Zhang as we know it, it's part of his Taijiquan practice, a routine where he did palm-based postures from 8 Trigram locations.
Like Wuxing, Bagua is another common terminology within Daoist philosophy. So Xingyiquan doesn't have monopoly on the term Wuxing, and Baguazhang doesn't have monopoly on the term Bagua. In within Taijiquan: the five steps (footwork/body positions) and 4 main skill (peng lu ji an) + 4 supplementary skills (cai lie zhou kao) are called the Wuxing and Bagua of Taijiquan. Hence one of the ancient names of taijiquan - Thirteen Postures.
