One of your original tai chi teachers told me the same thing. I once told him I was doing a lot of body conditioning to which he replied
" you're not ejaculating are you ?"

He said the negatives aspects of this manifest themselves later in life.

I don't know whether he is right or wrong on this.

Thank you I was never given a name for it

Yup.

maybe not,
but
why when don`t, declining is reversed, then?

@ - second time, /if she didn`t fall a sleep after 1st one/ is always w/o.
However,- energy level stays the same, even if >circulation< is done.

Speakin` about conditioning:
I don`t try to run marathon , however lookin` on peps in my age I can fell myself, sometimes like King Kong :)

Could be placebo as well... But even if it isn't -- there are a lot of things going on that takes longer and matter more than the actual semen expulsion. From varying levels of physical activity involved to the high levels of hormonal release (also varying depending on at what point in time during the process you stop to prevent the ejaculation), so the very fact of ejaculation itself is IMHO much less significant as a factor, in comparison. I'm just going with biology and common sense, instead of esoterica and beliefs. :)

Looking at this from another angle, it's anecdotal data, but I've noticed if I do form (as qigong) at night before bedtime, um "things" are better and "looking up" more in the morning. This is anecdotal data but is consistent. If I don't do these "neigong" exercises, subjective "health" assessment is not as good. So I'm not sure if avoiding certain activity is as important as doing certain exercises. Maybe if you combine both it's best.

Maybe try replacing the form/qigong with just walking around (with intermittent stretching) for the same length of time, and see how that factors in?

Those who don't think ejaculation does not reduce energy haven't had a lot of sex
It is easily provable
By the same token lack of sex as a young man can produce
its own problems
As we age it should be moderated
It must be hard for young men in today's porno filled enviroment

Hello! Originally I wanted to have a "cool post count" of 108, or something like that (something associated with Tai Chi) but that does not seem possible here. Therefore I am editing this post to point out that users here cannot delete their own posts. I do not understand why users have the ability to edit their posts but not to delete their posts.

The concept of celibacy is just as much psychological as it is energetic.
Being able to control sexual urges is one way of bringing your mind under control and it exists in a larger category of practices such as controlling your emotions, diet and so on.
If you really want to control your sexuality, you need to practice pretty much all the time in some way or other, since a considerable amount of sex urge comes from thinking about sexual subjects.
This is totally non trivial and I think the amount of sex going on in Catholic orders is evidence enough that controlling your sexuality is not easy at all.

If you aren't planning on becoming a monk, it is probably more valuable to learn how to deal with sex in a healthy and mature way.
Having a consistent spouse or life partner is a great help for this, since they will both want to have sex with you sometimes and also demand your time in other ways that will draw your mind away from sexual thinking.

Being busy and having purpose are also really great ways to control your crazy balls.
Finally, I'd say that sexual storing is overrated and that it is perfectly possible to cultivate qi while having a sex life.
The key is to balance the different areas of your life so that no one dominates the others.
This is a life long practice and takes time and patience to cultivate properly.
Take your time and enjoy the process. :)
