It actually addresses the six yin meridians and not five. How does Wu Xing Qi Gong address or differentiate the heart meridian and pericardium meridian?
The Heart and Pericardium are not differentiated in the wuxing qigong that I learned. Going back to the Huangdi Neijing, the Pericardium is like the minister, while the Heart is like the emperor. All contact with the emperor goes through his ministers, thus the Heart and the Pericardium are very closely related and, in general, working with one affects the other. In the case of the wuxing gigong, the movement of the Heart exercise has an action to squeeze the chest and massage the Heart. Since the Pericardium is wrapped around the Heart, it will certainly be massaged as well.
