Does media reflect life? Does it influence choices?

It does seem more interesting in the age of Google. SEO is supposedly based on content you write to attract human views, which improves search engine ranking, but there is some circular logic and reinforcement of this loop in that as a human writer, you probably look up what terms people search for, then write accordingly. Seems to be something similar with the images people post and get found by search engines.

So does Google reflect our choices? Influence us? Both?

People still have false images of their societal position so it is that erroneous assumption that will be the modus operandi of choice!
Google or no google, societal inequity is what should drive choices but people rely on their presumed priviledge as a protection against how they should defend themselves and their families.

Guns will always be the great Equaiizer but there are those who said weapons did nothing to help them so why should be be afraid!
In my limited view, it is those who have retained their wild nature to be cognizant of the con on both sides, with the ability to see through the bullshit, etc who will possess the survival instincts that will determine what they need for self protection. If sport is the goal then any MA will be highest rated despite evidence to the contrary ;D
