The statue with the martial pose isn't Buddha; it's his warrior attendant. But, it's certainly true that not all Buddha's have big bellies. And, more than likely, the historical Buddha didn't have one either. Sitting under a tree for a long time might end up with starvation bloating, though the bloat probably wouldn't extend to the breasts. Just sayin'

However, is size or qi more important? I.e., can some people use size and explain it as using something else?
