Intriguing principles that seemingly conflict with all you know might just give you that extra edge. Torsten Kanzmeier explains how unpredictable movement takes the pressure away by applying the principle of ‘never going against’. . . .

"Kanz Meier method"
"Leading without pressure - "Opening" People and Leading them

The highest principle of all martial arts is the "dissolution of the fight"... the connection between body and mind, and the harmonious connection to other people. Resolving any "conflict" in favor of the relationship between people from the inside and th outside. In the KanzMeier method one immediatly discovers on a mental and physical level and what it means to begin to dissolve one's own pressure in humand relationships. On a subconscious level, the resistances of the other person dissolves instantly and a true connection is possible where there is a real appreciation for others.

By releasing the pressure through "sinking" the individuals body connects to the other person and makes it possible to easily (without force or pressure) lead the other to the ground. This "guiding or leading" of the other is experienced by the other as very pleasant, and he let himself be led or guided without any resistance. This is a dream comes true for any leader as those who are led, follow the leader in what needs to be done:

I met Torsten Kanzmeier in January 2009 and it was really a great experience. I worked with him privately and on seminars and I still use his concepts and ideas in my BJJ and also my Stand Up training.
