Big requests. If it’s a book you want, then there are plenty of those that address Dan Tian practice.

For the purpose of CMA, dantian is useless!
Remember that whole body integrity with physical conditioning/jibengong criteria is what determines martial skill.

Perhaps for yangsheng purposes, dantian has some odd value but it is a byproduct of basic multifaceted training for health and wellbeing ;D

It’s not useless for Martial Arts, it’s something very basic and most practical. To move fast yet coordinated, you need to know how to arrange your movements around a center. To issue good force, your body needs a strong center and you movement needs to make good use of this center. Without a strong center, your movements will become clumsy and your force weak.

Could you explain how you use the dantien in a punch, for example, Bao, or anybody?

Just compressing the stomach while punching would be one simple use, according to how people here define the Dantian.

Or to complicate the mechanics further, compress the stomach while expanding the ribs, all the way from the lower ribs up to the scapula. Do all of it in one movement as you punch, then you coordinate the dantian support all the way through the spine movement. I would rather use a word like “Hara” than the Dantian, or consider dantian as the center of the mass of the Hara or however you define what is being used. The Dantian is a point that you can learn to physically feel inside your body, you can coordinate the movements and align the punch through this point. Then the striking line of the punch will be supported by your absolute center, which is a good physical way to make use of your whole body mass. Think about XY Bengquan for instance, walk into your opponent while striking with maximum support from your mass. A little bit off from the centerline means less power.

Fundamental to baji power - clear illustration at the 1:02 mark - the dan tian in baji training is not seen and trained in isolation of other structural components (at least the way I learned it)

There are 3 tan tiens, we appear to be talking about the lower one. They are energy constructs approximately circular in shape , the field, Qi or electromagnetic permeating the fascia/muscle/membrane. The centerpoint is physically the center of gravity of the body, .Shock power is achieved by rotation,/ expansion / contraction of the abdomen, using synchronized movement of muscles in the vicinity. The energetic aspect is important in cultivation of energy in Qigong. In MA it is a little more complicated, The mind-brain connects energetically with the lower tan tien so that a thought in the upper tan tien translates into movement[expansion say] in the lower tan tien [Mind Fist of Hsing yi] giving spontaneous reaction to an incoming force vector or.expanding/rotating/contracting shock to a strike
