If science is used, then a science test should be able to prove. Of course, there are loads of unproven theories in science. However, that doesn't disprove anything, only that science can't prove it yet. So, just keep science out of it until it does; and, when/if it does, then it'll be reproducible --even if it's not proven. Take gravity for example.

Moses parting the Reed Sea (Red Sea) is something different altogether. If one is wise, then one will realize at certain points of the day, the tides can be observed to wax and wane so one can take advantage of the tides. Someone who is ignorant and unable to understand that dynamic will definitely see that as magic and create a cult to deify the one who parted the waters and destroyed his enemies.

And the Egyptians, whose entire life revolves around the movement of the Nile, surely had no clue that the tide would come back halfway through their March... Right.

The whole story is fiction, no need to try to rationalize it

Moses the “real” Superman the fictional Man of Steel was based on. Moses where placed in a basket and set afloat on the river to be rescued from disaster much the same as the Man of Steel who’s space capsule traveled through the galaxy to eventually find harbor....During the times of the Pharaohs the River Nile was considered an reflection of the Milky Way, maybe the story of Moses rolling on the river actually tells a story of an alien space traveler coming here with superpowers.......EF on steroids ..... https://unrealfacts.com/superman-inspir ... jesus/amp/

The article states the following:

It’s worth pointing out though that Siegel and Shuster themselves deny the link [that Superman is based on Moses]. It was suggested by Rabbi Simcha Weinstein and British novelist Howard Jacobson that the inspiration was Moses.

It's amazing how far this thread has travelled...

Moses was not a historical figure. But, he might be an excellent analogy of lin kong jin. Both are the sum of various myths and exaggerated tales that a special few still fervently believe in despite the lack of evidence (not including experiential).

This is a solid proof that EF has nothing to do with Taiji.

Bringing religious experiences into the conversion is interesting primarily because there's no way to tell if a charismatic leader's effect on his believers is different from a kung fu master's effect on his students. Maybe the mechanism (or psychology) is the same, though I doubt any evangelist would say that he uses "empty force."

Anyway, if the effect is the same, how do we know that the cause is different? Or, maybe the cause is the same because it comes from the people who are affected, not the master or minister. And, fwiw, the people who are affected --and especially those who seek healing-- go with the desire and expectation to be affected.

I would say the evangelist has more refined and powerful EF as those on the receiving end do not jump and do not have sick feelings. Some one should apply Physics to explain the mechanism.

Nobody has posted this yet?

The fact that Derren Brown is an established mentalist/illusionist and also has an act where he replicates the effects of Christian Evangelists (despite being atheist) should give some insight into how goes about creating these effects.

Fight sports are big money enterprises. If LKJ were a thing, fight promoters would be scouring the world to find it. Not that it would be used openly, for that would spoil the show. It would be used in just that little moment when it would be really fortuitous if my opponent's balance went just a sixteenth farther back toward his heel...

You said it yourself "it would spoil the show". Not that I believe in LKJ, but the same could be applied to many other aspects of fighting. At the end of the day, big sports is about big money
