The TOC is in the product page (scroll through the images) although it doesnt show how much content is in each section. For example, in the Twelve Animals Poems section, there are more than one poem for each animal from differing traditions. Then of course there is commentary for each of those as well.

I recently got my copy. It is an amazing book. An excellent reference textbook regarding the classic Xing Yi manuals. It is hard to get decent translations of these texts in English let alone meaningful commentry. Thank you for all your work.

This clearly is a seminal work on Xingyiquan (Hubei style is the stand out)

This is the going to be the equivalent McCarthy's Bubushi, in the Karate do community... McCarthy's work is on every serious karate-ka book shelf

Just wanted to chime in and say how much I like the book. I'm not a XYQ practitioner (I'm Taiji and Bagua), but the content is completely relevant to other IMA. It is interesting to really see how a lot of TJQ theory is lifted from XYQ.

Highly likely common ancestry with bajiquan - take santishi - take rear foot turn from 45 degrees to 90 degrees then lengthen stance and turn front foot in slightly say 20 degrees or so and you have our baji's line stance of half horse half bow used in all our forms and single moving postures (only exception is xiao baji)

So this book is a real gift for deepening one's insights into many of the "internal" forms and systems
