mmmm,
speakin` about >effortless throw< -
it may happen when u are able smoothly remove your arse from the line of attack,
now u`re adding, turning, sweepin`, whatever,
but
the best, if you can go under, this make them fly really spectacular.
this is my experience from my judo backyard,
speakin` more internally, - u do basically the same using your >internals< trained for a last n-years,
and, yes Wayne, principles are very important,
however, sometimes u may sacrifice something and win...
don`t u think?

The reason we train not breaking the principles is because in the real thing we will always deviate
But if we deviate in training it will go to pieces when we need it most
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

U might think the truth is nasty
I was told on the back channel that I was too polite
Face to face would mean little because I know I have nothing to teach u
I write for others

Well, Wayne, perhaps we just have different ideas of what manners are.

You say my tai chi sucks, I say you're a coward who is afraid to show their art online or engage in friendly pushing.

But I don't care, honestly, wasting too much time here on this nonsense, would much rather talk about kung fu than me or wayne or any of that shit, but you're obsessed, whatever.

You guys just enjoy your little club I'm done.

Have no idea why you are so defensive, WH is a Tai Chi senior, why not try to have a discussion instead of arguing?
If you don't accept what WH says, you don't need to reply or comment on his posts.

I myself, if I showed WH, or anyone else who I respected, something I did, I would be completely open and accept what he says. Even if I didn’t agree with everything, I would be happy to hear about my own mistakes and I would ask for as much details as possible.

No one is perfect. I am certainly not. But there's a reason why we are in the place we are in our lives. To move forward, we need to accept that everything is exactly how it should be.

It’s funny how every time this sort of thing goes on the support I get on the back channel
I appreciate that and understand why they don’t get involved on the open network
Those of you that think this is good pushing fine you have chosen your path
I am just sorry that better understanding is not available to you
It won’t matter to you only to the art
It is not about me showing what I do
It is about you doing better

I don't like the pushing video. I would never train that way. In fact I think that half the problem with the tai chi world today can be explained from this video. When I see a video like this I just close my eyes.

I have a strange feeling that if I was in BT's shoes something different would have happened. But I didn't say anything because I was willing to accept that there may have been mitigating circumstances. But after reading wayne's post I think I will side with wayne here. He's right.
