Feeling left out

Postby Juan on Fri Apr 17, 2009 10:47 am

Man, I had a hell of a hard time finding the new site. :( Thanks Ashe for the new URL. What gives with the new name?

Also, this should have probably been posted in the off topic page. My bad.

Love,

I just kinda assumed you had chosen the dark side and stayed at the other forum after we all got sprayed with schism.

Good to see you back! Now all we need is Zac, as the other half of the dynamic duo.

Hey guys, I think I explained this but the schism kinda left a bad taste in my mouth so I left for a while. Then I came back and was just lurking and I would occasionally post. Then I left for another little while and all of the sudden EF was gone! I was like WTF? Glad I kept in touch with some of you guys by other means or else I would have never found this place again. :)

Yeah, I was supposed to fight 2 weeks ago at the Thai New Year Festival (was going to be my first paid fight) but I injured my ankle training the freaking week of the fight. I was so disappointed because I had trained my ass of for the three prior weeks only to have it all go to waste the week of. It was f'ing bullshit. Hopefully I'll get a fight sometime this summer. My ankle is still not 100% and it's been two weeks.

Here some pictures from my training (both Taiji and MT):

Sifu and I traiding shots. Yes I know, our shit is fake because we have oxing gloves and we're throwing punches.

Sifu hitting me with a left hook that rocked me

You would think that by now I'd know to keep my hands up

Me applying fair lady works shuttles in sparring. Would have been cooler if he didn't land that right kick.

lol, yeah we practice at a dance school. However, this is more of a positive than a negative. Do you realize how much eye candy there is overthere? There is a class that comes in after us that do some sort of hula-hoop workout. All the chicks in that class are smoking hot!
