Mr. Wang or anyone else here work with Shiao Banza, Da Banza and hemp rope exercises?
Curious to hear expereinces with these in terms of developing strength, are these exercises a big part of development in this art.

cheers,
Derek

I like to use the cane bundle instead of the short or long stick. The stick can only give you fraction as resistence. The cane bundle will give you the true reverse resistence. When you work on the stick, your hand will get very rough (like sand paper) and your love one may not like you to touch her after that. The belt cracking is the easiest way to train your strength when you are along. All you need is a rope, belt, or a section of steel chain.

Crow weep in the dark. Tide bellow in the north wind. How lonesome the world.

me too. and I like doing pulley work at the gym's freemotion machine. like the old school SC pulley work. long bag training is also quite fun. and kettlebells can be used for the old stone lock training for embracing, etc.

If we're breaking out the whole toolbox, I absolutely LOVE the one sided rockpole. That little sumnabitch gave me some amazing balance that I still have to this day.

There seems to be some good material at the first part of this for solo training (including the aforementioned belt snapping).
