That's a fine looking magazine! Congratulations, Yuen-Ming!
I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

Yuen-ming:

Nice first issue. I think the CMA world will welcome this kind of publication - ie a China-centred, in-depth journal on the CMA - though the vast majority of CMA peeps would probably want it dumbed down ("Technique of the week!" "New MA Movie Star shows off his kicks!" etc, etc). Please resist this temptation! There is enough crap in the sorry excuse we have for an MA media as it is.

Also, I would respectfully urge you NOT to take an overly reverential approach to your subject: There are many controversies and conflicts within the CMA world, and they should be addressed. IOW, make sure the magazine is journalism, not PR.

Also, I do wonder what your business model is...? MA magazines seem to lack revenue streams beyond subscribers and MA film and equipment advertizers - which means they are pretty lean earners.

But good job and good luck. I will be watching with interest. Thanks for the free first issue.

Seems the file is corrupted. No matter what computer I try to view it on it freezes on page 19. Looks promising though.

It comes through all right for me, but it is slow in NE CONUS. Try right click, "save as" instead of viewing it online.

It looks neat...

I will enjoy many good reads in the future, it seems. I have always liked Prof. Ma's work, so I can only hope that this new publication receives the attention it IMO deserves.

To all involved: Thanks for your effort...
