Greetings,
My name is Lou, currently live in Southern Taiwan. I have practiced Taijiquan for the last 3+ years: 1 short [42-traditional] Yang, 37-shi Zheng Manquing [2yrs] from a direct disciple of GM Jhu Hong-Bin [Kaohsiung],
and <2yrs on Chen Laojia Yi-Lu, from a disciple of GM Du Yuze.

In all, I'm a novice, still have a lot to learn.

Cheers.

Hello
SCMT = Some Call Me Tim
I was on the old EF waaaaaaaay back before the multiple changes and I think the web handle may have been T.

I am a Yang Taijiquan guy in the Tung Ying Cheih lineage, 1 generation removed
I am also a Wing Chun guy 1 generation removed from Ip Ching
I have also study Xingyiquan in multiple lineages, BP Chan, Liang Shouyu and another I have no idea who he learned from but as much as I like Xingyiquan my old body and old injuries don’t

All any of that really means is I train some stuff and in no way means I am any good at any of it.
Train with intent

Hi,

My name is Wim Demeere and I live in Belgium. I've been practicing tai chi chuan since 1997 with my teachers, Patrick Couder and Dan Docherty. I started training in other arts as a teenager and continue to do so to this day.
I've visited this board a couple times over the years after being pointed towards certain threads by friends of mine. But I never joined for a number of reasons I won't bore you with. I finally decided to take the plunge after a student of mine forwarded me a recent thread here.

Looking forward to meeting you all here,

Wim

Hi

My name is Will, from the UK, but I live in Yantai, Shandong province in China. Ive been here about 6 years, learning kung fu. For the last 3 years Ive been learning Taiji tanglang (praying mantis), last year I finally met the teacher Ive been looking for - Zhou Zhen Dong.

I run a website http://www.monkeystealspeach.co.uk which has some articles about tanglang as well as some interviews and videos

Looking forward to getting to know more likeminded people and exchanging ideas on this forum!

I really thought I had put my info up here, but apparantly not.
So here goes.

Name: Vegard Winther
Country: Norway
Born: 1975

Previous martial arts experience:
Couple of years of judo as a kid.
7 years of shotokan karate as a teenager +
7 years of training at Oslo Wu Tan (praying mantis, baji, pigua, taiji)
Dabled a bit with tongbei for a while before I found I Liq Chuan.

I have studied I Liq Chuan for two years now, and feel I have finally found what I have been searching for. (:

Hi,

I am a beginner in all things martial, just only picked up the interest a couple years back. I have learnt some wingchun, and little bit of taiji. I live in Malaysia, nearby where iliqchuan is founded. I am interested in understanding the rational basis of taiji (and other ima) and the scientific principles behind it.

Cheers.

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a bit and finally created an account. I've trained Yang Tai Chi, Yin Style Bagua, and I'm currently studying Hapkido and Sun Lutang's line of Bagua here in SoCal.

Cheers!

I like Chen Zhenglei's 18 form because I like Chen style and it is the only Chen style I have time for these days, I have to many other things to train and do to do justice to training Laojia Yilu.
