Application based, or is this just waving arms around and doing forms?
Thanks

Saul has a very strong push hands and sword fencing curriculum and I have seen him knock some very large guys on their butt by just waving his arms. But.... don't take my word for it go push hands with him. At 68 he is not going to step into the ring but he has a lot to teach and I would not under estimate him either.

I did not mean are we going to fight full on, just curious if he was going to explain mechanics, and structural type applications, or if he was just a qi hugger who does forms, and "push hands."
Thanks

Is there any videos knocking around of him or a decent web site that gives people more info than the dance studeo one?

I don't want to come across as a prick but Saul was doing Lei Tai tournaments in Taiwan before most of the guys on this board were born.

Please look at the other posting on the events section for his history.

Jay,
His history has nothing to do with his teaching style / method.
Just curious as to what he offers.

No worries Jake. I must predicate this statement with the fact that I have not taken a class from him since January of 96. So he may have changed. However at that time, In his beginning form class you will spend most of your time in full postures and standing. As an old Xingyi guy he has transferred a lot of the xingyi training methodology into Taiji so Santi and Zhangzhuang takes precedence. For more recent info I believe Tom has studied with him but in the end you really need to go see for yourself.
