Looking for class in London, England

Postby amanmtl on Thu Oct 09, 2014 7:45 am

Good morning everyone,

I'm just looking for a class in London for a friend of mine that just moved there.

He has experience with Wing Chun (Leung Sheung/ Kenneth Chung lineage).

Any good ideas?

Thanks in advance!

London's a big place with a lot of martial arts teachers. Can you be a bit more specific about what your friend is looking to study? Does he want to stick with Wing Chun?

If so, your friend could check out people like Alan Orr, Michael Tse or Leo Au Yeung. I would add the caveat that I've never studied Wing Chun, so YMMV.

For Wing Chun in London, I would check out Victor Kan. His stuff is solid, as are his students.

You should check out Paul Whitrod, not for Wing Chun, but he teaches multiple styles. Authentic gongfu training, a brilliant martial artist.

Speaking of having heard nothing but great things –
You can also check out Withrod’s nemesis, YK Leung (formerly known as Tony Leung). ;D

Used to teach his Steelwire Mantis, nowadays Taijiquan and the occasional mantis with internal prinicples.
