Contestants may register early at the hotel the night before the tournament, Friday, August 8 (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) or the mornings of August 9 & 10. We are asking everyone to try to register early by mail, online or the night before to avoid late fees on the tournament day.

Judges should register for ring assignments and pick up packages.

AIRPORT Reagan National Airport, Washington, D.C. 20001 Complimentary shuttle to and from Reagan National Airport. Also, one stop on the subway to the hotel.

Tiger claw/Disney and China open...These seem like two separate tournaments at 'uscapitolclassics' but both have Tai chi. What are the rules for the fighting/sparring? The website doens’t seem to say much.



not sure which one i should enter if i do decide to go. nice prize money however.

I wanted to do this months ago but couldn't find any info. I even wrote e-mails. I'm really not interested now that I see the rules (no takedowns, ELBOWS OR KNEES), but it would have been nice if you had put up more info sooner. I may have had time to adjust to the limits of the rules.
