Yiquan - Summer Intensive Courses 2008

This year there will be 4 separate courses for various level groups:

28 June - 12 July - beginners - first section of program
13 - 26 July - second section of program
27 July - 9 August - third section of program
16 - 31 August - fourth (and fifth) section of program

Contents of each section of Yiquan Academy training program (based on Yao Chengguang's curriculum):

First section: introduction to zhan zhuang, shi li, moca bu, fa li, tui shou.
Second section: next zhan zhuang, shi li and fa li methods, more tui shou, introduction to san shou.
Third section: next zhan zhuang, bag and pads training, free pushing hands training, free fighting training.
Fourth section: wooden pole practice, cotton ball practice, free pushing hands and free fighting training. Preparing for assistantship.
Fifth section: taking all previous training methods to next level, jianwu "dance", Intensive pushing hands and free figthing training, teaching methodology. Preparing for instructorship.
Sixth section: taking all training to advanced level, intensive jianwu training, intensive pushing hands and free fighting training, teaching methodology. Refining teaching skills.
