Just a little note on the last seminar so that people have an idea if this is for them.

Last time (and every time i have met him) Serge taught with great clarity and precision for the entire weekend, his boundless energy filled the room and never was a question met with anything but a clear, and straight forward answer.

The Saturday was filled with explanation and insight on 'Nei Dan' and the process of internal cultivation, with practical examples, discussion and training. This was actually pretty hard work and not an 'easy' method to train, but there was never any confusion about what we should have been doing. ;)

The Sunday was Concise presentation of TaijiQuan in a way that leaves no doubt as to its efficiency and effectiveness as a combative method. Serges hits using a tiny proportion of his body method but they still rattle you down to the core, He has power beyond anyone i have met, and can deploy it with subtlety and efficiency reminiscent of the stories of old masters.

I have traveled to meet people from many varied arts, from MMA, BJJ and Judo to Ba gua, xing yi and systema and although most of them were fantastic and of a level far above my own... never have i met someone so skilled, clear, precise and powerful as Serge.

If you do Martial Arts ... full stop ... it is worth the price of admission and a weekend of your time to get some tuition from this man.

Cheers
Chris.

Looking forward to another seminar with Serge.

The last one, for those that didn't make it, was fantastic. As Chris said we covered meditation on the Saturday and Tai Chi on the Sunday. What always strikes me about Serge's teaching is the systematic approach with very clear instruction and no hand-wavy nonsense. Echoing Chris again, you are always left with a very clear understanding of what you should practice - not that it is always easy.

The meditation that Serge teaches is very down to earth - and it starts simply enough even for someone like me to grasp a little bit of. There's a clear method and clear steps - I think Serge gave enough in one day to practice for a very long time. There isn't much more to say about the meditation, the word that struck me about it was "practical" and so far removed from new-agey cobbled together things that I've been exposed to in the past.

What else? Well Serge always teaches with a glint in his eye - he obviously loves the training and he loves the application - the Tai Chi he teaches is lovely - I don't think we were five minutes into it before we partnered up and started working the martial application. It was very interesting to see the little form that Serge taught and how it translated into fighting, as well as a little bit of strategy - from keeping out of range through destroying limbs through to close in smashing your opponent up. Serge's method doesn't really have a place for a boxing range slugging it out - either you are out of range or you right in close. And as always, any questions are always beautifully (and sometimes a little painfully) answered :)

The unsung hero of any seminar is the guy who organsises it (anyone who has hosted a seminar knows how much work it is) - much love to Alex who obviously loves sharing these arts and really wants people to catch a glimpse of Serge's teaching.

All gushing aside, the training is fun, the teaching is fantastic and if you pop along to the seminar you can meet some RSF brothers and talk martial arts late into the night. :)

Really looking forward to this. The last seminar was great - I'm glad I, for the first time in my life - took serious notes. What's more, I can still understand and use them today, the teaching is so clear :-)

Oh yes... low kicks... oh well, more commando crawling across train stations on the way home due to not being able to walk any more, I guess!

Astonishingly, some places still left for this. I can't really add anything new to the above, but anyone out there wondering if it's worth it, be assured it is. Contact Alex ASAP to book your place!

All systems go.

In late spring/early summer 2013 Serge Augier will teach the first Ziranmen seminar, it will be open only to those who are attending the January Bagua/Neidan training. It will be the first public teaching of this rare system.
