First session went really well, a good bunch of experienced guys from Tai chi, Karate, MMA, Ba gua and Southern KF on the session for the fundamentals and to establish the common language we are working from outside of style.

Looking forward to next months session to get into some of the nitty gritty! :D I am hoping to be able to video the next session (technical hiccup on the last) so will make it available if i do.

Hi All,

Next course is scheduled to start in October this year and is already half full!! Feedback so far is very positive, everyone on the course is in the 10+ years experience category and they are all changing their practice.

Anyone interested please feel free to PM me.

Ref filming - I did manage to film some of the last session but the quality is horrific so have just kept that for the people on the course as a brain jogger! ... Next session will be outside with better lighting so we should (fingers crossed) get some footage for you guys to see whats going on and what we are working on this time. :D

I am also writing up everything from my note pad/brain into a format that can be put online.I will post some of the info here for those interested. However a lot of work is going into this info and it may be presented as a 'virtual' course that people can access in the members area of my website ... but i haven't thrashed out the details of that yet .. or even if i want to do it that way.

Cheers.

Course now online for anyone interested. Bit of a labor of love over the last couple of months! Took me a while to get it all down plus photos etc. But now totaling over 50 pages of information plus i took some basic video etc too.

First overview PDF is here. Please bare in mind that this is a basics course for solo training only. I am working on the course concepts for two man stuff and application which will probably pop up early next year when the current guys have competed this stuff and embedded it a bit.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing!

Thanks Chris, really enjoyed that. I like the idea of having "short term goals" - I hadn't really thought about it like that but for one reason and another I've been in hermit mode for most of the last 6 months so in the absence of frequent feedback I did find myself working in a more targeted way and trying to develop specific qualities, with varying degrees of success.
