YiZong Philadelphia is excited to host Master Luo De Xiu's annual Phila. area Gao style Baguazhang Seminar on Sept. 20-21

Seminar details
Curriculum:
Houtian Linear Fighting Set (Bagua Entwining Hands) Line 3- Gen (skillful methods). Form, fighting theory and proper body mechanics will be covered with an emphasis on fighting application.
Sun Xi-Kun's two-man fighting sets. Master Luo studied with Sun's student, Liu Qian.
San Shou (Sticky Hands) -fundamental exercises and practice with connection to practical application.

Location: Grant's Kung Fu Academy. 802 McDade Blvd., Folsom, PA., 19033
Date and time: Saturday, Sept. 20, starts at 11:00 am, Two 3 hr. sessions with a break for lunch.
Sunday, Sept. 21, starts at 10:30 am, Two 3 hr. sessions with a break for lunch.
Cost: $235 for both days, $135 for one day.

Master Luo of Taipei, Taiwan is widely recognized as one of the world's foremost experts in the Chinese Internal Martial and Healing Arts. Master Luo has been practicing and teaching the internal arts for over 35 years. Master Luo received his fundamental training from Zhang Zhun-Feng's student, Hong Yi-Xiang. Master Luo went on to study with many of Zhang's other students and Sun Xi-Kun's student, Liu Qian. Master Luo's years of research into the theory and teachings of the internal arts, as well as his experience in many full-contact competitions, gives him the ability to explain internal theory, proper body mechanics, health benefits and fighting theory in a way that is clear and easy to understand.

Sounds fun! Have a blast.
Never heard of Sun Xi-Kun's two-man fighting sets. Curious about how these look compared to the Gao Style two person forms that Luo Laoshi demonstrates on the old Tim Cartmell tapes.

Jess, those sets are the Sun Xi Kun Sets on the tapes. Not from Gao bagua.

A lot of the two man bagua stuff Luo does is from Liu Jian and not the Hongs.
