Sometimes I think of Bruce and his rock and roll lifestyle..travelling all over the world to places like...Honolulu..and I think of that Bob Seger song "turn the page" about how hard it is on the road...

Then I think about how ridiculous that is. I wish I could do something like what you do Bruce. I'd be so down with it.

S- jealous but in a happy for his friend way.

i love that song! it is very true ... oh the glamor lol!

last time i was here i met some people in a park but no one was around this time. oh well, guess i will go snorkeling ...

Isn't there a guy named Rick who is a kung fu brother of James Montalbano (Kenny Gong Xingyi lineage)? I think I remember hearing that he owns a bar in Honolulu. I recall Mr Montalbano saying that his Xingyi was very good.

well i did meet a guy who does xingyi and bagua by chance ... he was a security guard at the gig. one of my guys saw him playing around with some other security and then introduced me to him ... we did some push hands practice and traded a few ideas. it was fun.

There used to be a guy on the old incarnation of this board that did Cheng style in Hawaii.
I think Sun Zhijun was his teacher.
