Luo Dexiu in Boston

I need to firm up the place with Nam Pai and the material w/my teacher but here's what it's looking like:
7/25 Hebei xingyi wuxing
7/26-27 Chen Panling taijiquan
7/28 Xingyi animals (can't remember..monkey..and two others)
7/29 Gao bagua eight mother (static) palms.

I was gling to do a night of Yizong sticking hands but no one showed an interest this year and last year it was just us. For DGIA folks I can ask Laoshi to do it but it will be more money than the other nights.

Weekdays will be from 6:30-9:30 and will be $70.
The weekend will be from 10-1 and 2:30 to 5:30 and will be $250

We will be at Nam Pai for all workshops this year, Bill can you add the address?
The xingyi animals will be monkey, bear, and snake. And the 29th will be Gao style ba xing zhuang (static palms). Please bring cash, we've had issues with checks in the past.

Parking is always a bit of an issue, but there are several lots that are pretty close by. You can get a Meter but they max out at 2 hours.

New England Medical Center on Washington Street. Go in to the lobby by Au Bon Pain or into the ER and get your ticket validated. Lowers the price.

20 Dollar lot between Tyler and Harrison almost right across the street from the Kwoon. There's another 20 dollar lot on the corner of Harrison and Essex.

There is a parking garage on Beach on the same block as the kwoon and is 10 dollars all day on the weekend, 10 dollars after 5 during the week.

There's another parking garage just around the corner from Beech and Washington that is under a Hotel and Condo building. Not sure of the cost.

It's a bit of a hassle if you're not used to it, but between LaoShi and the food, it's totally worth it!!

The kwoon is at the intersection of Harrison and Beech. There is a large Soverign bank on one corner, Anna's sandwhiches on the other corner, and a large construction project across the street. There is a sign on the street level that says Boston Ultimate Fitness. Go into the lobby and take the elevator to 7.

quick question: is there one day that will put more emphasis on throwing than other days? I'd like to come but I cannot afford the whole enchilada.

We haven't talked about throwing but we're doing taiji and I bet Laoshi would be open to showing it there if you just asked. I'll mention it to him if folks are interested, he wants to concentrate on how to train for real usage. Thanks for a great question. Anyone else want to chime in with what they want with the classes we're doing? I'm open to bringing it up.

Unless Laoshi decides to change based on those attending, yes.

As always, good training stuff from Laoshi. We had the Hsing-I 5 elements seminar tonight (well, we got to three).

Come join us if you can!
