2nd UK Historical Chinese Swordfighting Seminar
Posted: Sun Aug 28, 2016 5:57 amI'm hosting another seminar with Scott Rodell on Historical Chinese Swordfighting with the Chinese Jian. LEEDS UK 9th-11th SEPTEMBER
Last time it was really good, we got through a load of jibengong, basic cuts, holding the sword, ready stance, deflections etc. Moved on to partner drills to drill individual cuts and deflections and then started to mix things up and vary the attack and defence in short sequences of freeplay. We had people of all ages and background from guys in their 20s who practice aikido and taekwondo to women in their 60s interested in taiji sword. Everyone was able to join in all the exercises, have fun and learn a lot.
