Master Mark Li is the eldest son of Grandmaster Li Tailiang. Master Li started his internal martial arts training at a very young age from his father and other teachers in his ancestral home in Shanxi province. He is the second generation inheritor of the Xinyidao internal system and sixth generation inheritor of Shanxi Xingyiquan.

In addition to the Shanxi styles, Master Li has studied rare Dai Xingyiquan. Master Li blends his knowledge of Xingyiquan with Cheng Baguazhang and Yang Taijiquan to create a powerful and practical training system for internal kungfu.

Master Li is coming to the San Francisco Bay area for a weekend seminar June 20 and June 21, 2009 and practise sessions during the weekday. Private session times are also available.

The seminar topics are organized into two sections. Note that the topics are covered across both weekend days.

Section 1 (2 Morning Sessions)
- Comparison of the traditional 5 element fists to the modified versions in the Che style.
Differentiate Yin & Yang principle of each fist (splitting, drilling, pounding, crushing, and crossing) to fully understand internal body mechanics.

Section 2 (2 Afternoon Sessions)
Use the same Yin & Yang principle to understand the execution of each fist in its applications and in combat and sparring situations. Practise how to spar while still using proper internal kung fu techniques.
Techniques used will focus on closing/bridging the gap and sticking to the opponent.
Also striking with closing and opening body methods.
