AWESOME!!!!

So happy to see Luo Laoshi is continuing to travel and open up this art for everyone to experience.

I hope that everyone who loves Chinese martial arts gets a chance to meet and train with him. You will come away inspired and excited.

Sorry, Lewitt. Because the time he's spending in Europe is longer this year, the latter half of the schedule had to be squeezed, and so there are a few of the regular US locations that aren't on the schedule this time. Boston is one of them, I'm very sorry to say. (But the European schedule is usually the one that gets squeezed for time, so it's nicer for them this go round.)

I see Snow's reply to TaoBoxer. Snow, would I be correct in assuming that Philadelphia is off the list then?

Thanks Snow. Looks like I'll need to find a way down to DC then.

Sounds interesting! I'm trying to get hold of the local organisers for details, but does anyone know what kind of material Luo tends to cover in his seminars? I'm asking because I'm not familiar with Gao Bagua, and although I've done a couple of years of bagua I do almost entirely hsing i these days. But really any excuse to go along and see the man in action :)

Any chance more locations will be added? (something in the midwest would be nice!)

Hi,

mrtoes - The specific topics really do vary from location to location, as the local organizers have input based on the interests and needs of the students in that area. So the local host can answer that a bit more exactly than I can. In any location, though, hands-on learning of practical applications will be a significant part of the sessions.

XinKuzi - There are a couple of new locations already beginning to discuss future hosting (but not on this particular summer trip).

Hi Shawn - not sure, but it's looking kind of doubtful at this point. It would be awesome to see you again, though, if I can do.

mrtoes,

I hope you can make it to see Luo Laoshi in action. His classes are always a well balanced mix of internal martial arts concept & theory, basic training & forms, and power training & fighting technique. He is careful to give everyone a sample of the power, and let them feel it so they can replicate it for themselves. He is one of the most proficient and clear instructors of this stuff that you can find anywhere. Anyone who loves Chinese martial arts will be inspired by working with him and come away invigorated.

Sincerely,

Jess O

Yeah, what Jess said.

Every time I've gone to one of Laoshi's seminars I've been able to honestly say I left a better martial artist than I was before the seminar started.

For real.
