For those that don't know what a baseball bat choke is:

I was a little disappointed. I was hoping the guy was going to pull an actual baseball bat out of his gi and start choking people with it.

I've never been choked from bottom of side control - lots of guys have tried it though. I think I need to roll with Middleway to experience this :)

I have been caught with the one from bottom side control once or twice but then I learned about knee on head and turning it into an armbar.

Got caught with one from being bottom knee on belly last night in honors of the Giants winning the world series.

My professor fought Magid Hage and lost by advantages but said he is just constantly searching for the Baseball grips. My prof knee bared him and heard a pop but he kept going.... tough dude.

i have 2 things i do to stop the knee on neck escape to arm bar. :D 1) run the legs around north south as i am locking it in, Its really hard to get the armbar then. or 2. Hook a leg then roll to the my front. With their leg hooked they cant step over or come up to knee on neck :D

2mins in you see me get the choke finalizing it as he tries to posture out by walking round. (first comp at blue belt)

Lucky the folks I am rolling with are not using those methods to get to the finish. They sound good. Obviously you've been doing your homework.

I see the N/S movement you were talking about in that vid. Nice.
