Well... As long as they hiold the button down theres not a whole lot you can do. If you can knock out one of the needles it becomes useless. When they let go of the botton instead of going for them swipe one of the needles out then go after them. Nothings fool proof.

Someone was nice enough to find out for us if the phrase "don't taze me, bro!" was efficacious when threatened with an immanent tazing.

So, at least we know not to try that.

that is a good thought ... the taser needs a + and - to work.

In my little town, the people carrying tasers are the good guys...cops and the tender souls who wouldn't want to shoot anybody, even if deservedly so.

The bad folks have guns knives and such.

Not high on my list of priorities.

That style taser is illegal in ohio. The kind that you have to hold against the other person are legal here, I have tested up to 500,000 volt models of that type on myself and it is just annoying.

Figure out how to be like this dude.

My buddys a cop in Montana and we had a conversation about tasers. That was what he sugessted.

Just got done watching Fight Science on National Geographic.

They did a whole bunch of tests on common self defense techniques like the eye gouge, throat strike, boxing of the ears, etc...

There was an ex Navy Seal who volunteered to try to beat the Tazer. He was hit with it from about 10 feet away, froze up, and started to fall to the floor. As he was falling he was able to control one of his arms and swatted the connection of of his skin. He stood up literally 2 seconds after being shot with it as if nothing ever happened. Pretty enlightening.

Well I think that clip establishes to my own satisfaction that indeed, if done right, no can defend.

If a soccer mom comes at me from across the room with a taser gun I counter her with one of these. You cant stun what you can't see.
