Hi;

These are very good clips about Yi Jing Jing.

as they show you how to do these moves/postures slowly in the beginning,

the left posture and the right posture and then side view as well.

For the most part, the teacher is saying how to do these moves and focus on qi.

In general there are 3 levels of doing these postures.

We may slightly bend the knee or the back, we may bend more and finally we may bend all the way.

This applies to all the postures.

For the most part, it is stretching all of your joints and add more flexibility around your spine, too.

In turn, your internal organs are "massaged" and replenished with 02 or Chi.

Every thing has to be done gradually so that injuries will not occur.

A guidance from a good teacher is absolutely reccomended.

8-) :) ;)

Thanks for posting these clips. Everything is clearly demonstrated.

good clips interesting- Weitou- Chinese "Vajrapani" skanda "he who hold the vajra" type of figure- Nio or Idaten in Japan. ?
The book "Chinese healing art's" a old reissue of a Chinese manual of a 1895 English translation re-edited by William Burke 1986 has the Weitou chi kung postures with some explanations starting on pg 165.
Postures are slightly different from the basic Weitou in 12 postures I learned from my old teacher- vid clips are also different.

Weitou Presents Pestle (Vajra)
Second and third aspect
Pluck a Star
Pull nine oxen tails
Push out claws extend the wings
Nine devils draw swords
Three plates fall to the ground
Dark dragon lashes its claws
Tiger springs at pray
Making a bow
Wagging the tail

Weitou chi kung is thought to be the original Shaolin sinew change method. The "mighty force" method taught in 12 0r 22 (?) postures is suposed to be a Ching dynasty revision..

originally Weitou / Vajrapani was Indra so they say.
