Thanks for the videos Bob!

I liked the free-style push hands going on in the background in the second video, at least it looked fun. How can anyone justify competing in fixed-step push hands? It's just silly.

But then again there are people who play polo on a Segway. And there's a US lawnmower racing association. -shrug-

while i much prefer moving-step push hands, fixed-step can be challenging as well. i think those blocks they use in taiwan are kinda strange, though.

I was thinking CMC too! CMC had a large reputation in Taiwan, I think.
I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

I think standing on blocks for fixed step is inherently honest, as a contest, if unrealistic from the standpoint of self defense. For contest purposes it eliminates a certain amount of discussion after the fact.
