NICE ! :D finding and controlling the center, finding and creating opportunities for attack, you'll see the the older gents, as well as Qui, who I believe is the one in blue are more concious of their own center in their subtle movement and ability to control another, it is also evident in the way Qui keeps the pressure on in sparring, rather than dancing in and out. Throwing the center is tantamount to throwing hands, the body becomes disconnected and in search of its self, making easy the opportunity for an opponent ot take advantage. Great footage :)

I like the way they switch stances, no 'jumping' or breaking connection with the ground, can any Yiquan people give any insight into how this is trained?

Besides mocabu we have a lot of different footwork drills.

-half steps: single half steps; forward/backward in alteration, forward/backward/side step, circle step
- alternating step: single;
- alternating step+half step (big alternating step)
- circle stepping+alternating step
-"running"
etc.

Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind [...] More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Withouhese qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.
