well they have some good stuff but when i saw that they block the low kick with their hands i wasn't happy for them.

those are "low middle kicks"
aim fo soft part of the side of the body with an upwards diagonal motion

they are done "softly"... cause those kicks impact with the toes... in light sparring or defense practice instep is used instead
