Hi Bao, On the other hand, the discussions in this thread (CXW on Tai Chi Basics) comes a full circle, without the sound basics how can we build a tall structure, or "deep" Tai Chi to use your words? CXW might not be able to teach combat applications according to you, but what he said in the tape are solid basics worth listening to. A MA coach is there to improve our skill, he does not need to be the best street fight in the world to do so. Joachim Loew was not a brilliant player on the football field, yet he is able to coach a world cup team for Germany, Diego Maradona cannot do the same for Argentina, even though he knew how to score goals.
