Some of my understandings of chen fixed pattern tuishou

Postby Jin Gang Dao Dui on Wed Jul 23, 2014 5:53 am

Somebody filmed some parts of a seminar I did last Abril and I thought I could share some of it on here.

It's about some of the details that make a difference in the fixed step "ding bu" pushhands pattern of Chen style the way I understand it. Of course this can be different from how other people understand it. Later we moved towards moving step.
I hope someone gets something out of this.

the volume is pretty low so turn your speakers up.

and some shorter videos

and

and then a week later we shot a video a free pushing at a competition in Madrid
so you can see how the previous ones relate to less restricted format

Yes, I am. I choose him because last year he won 1st prize in a national pushhands competition and because he is a bit bigger than me. It was a demo, but I asked him not to cooperate and try his best to unbalance/throw me and he did.
