your mingmen, does not seem to be opened. this important as it extends your center to displace the others. its part of the process of empty and full. you mention switching sides, it might be better to think of 2 axis, with rotating, and counter rotating spirals.
nice clips,,,,good and explorative work.

Thanks. I can probably do everything better than whats in the clip. I just wanted to show some ideas. It's funny you mentioned 2axis because that is an idea I have been contemplating and using more recently. I often have people trying to hit the back leg, so by switching to the front I can often get past what they are doing. Just for example. I also have been working on complementary circle in the hips doung cloud hands, and grasp the birds tail. I didn't really sit into anything in this clip or warm up or anything. I just drove to d.c. And shot it quickly before I went to petsit for a friend and go to a wedding. I didn't plan anything, rehearse it or try to make it my best work. This just a casual honest video of what I work on a lot. I need a lot of improvement. This is just the beginning of my taiji journey. Thanks for watching, feel free to comment. Jess

Great stuff. I used to be obsessed with having to take these ideas and work them in to a full contact environment. But it's so much cooler just to remain chilled about it and enjoy it for the fun games and explorations they are. Thanks for making the video.
Not a criticism, but these same basic ideas and "internals" have been well documented in the six videos Mike Sigman made back in the mid/late 1990's on "Internal Strength". This is very largely a repeat of a small portion of those.

Ok well I never saw them or was going for originality. This is classic taiji stuff. I didn't make it up. I'm not trying to do anything but document and share a little bit of my training. Jess
