No matter that he tried multiple takes to carry out some of the stunts, and used slower-moving arrows to do the split, it's STILL damned good, impressive archery. He deserves credit for being an expert of his genre.

Well she sounds like a ton of fun.

This seems like an appropriate place to post this video of me shooting from 2013, when I was living with a tribe in Papua New Guinea. Notice the lack of fletching on the arrows — I believe this is unique to the Pacific, but I could be wrong... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eSgPT99-mI

If you’re interested in Papuan archery, check out this article by Dr. Ed Ashby — http://www.alaskabowhunting.com/PR/Ashb ... Arrows.pdf Interestingly, the barbed wooden-point arrows found on page 11 of Dr Ashby's article were reserved for adulterers among the tribe with whom I lived, the protuberances representing breasts. It's also worth noting I never shot any metal-tipped arrows in PNG (the 'broadheads' for instance were made from a hard an inflexible wood).
